LOS ANGELES — Adult studio Zero Tolerance Entertainment announced today that it has put in an offer to the Houston Texans for placement of its logo on the front of the team’s practice jersey.
ESPN (reporting on a story in the Houston Chronicle) announced last week that the Texans were offering a marketing opportunity to companies wishing to have their logo appear on the team’s practice jerseys. The announcement prompted Zero Tolerance to contact the team and submit a written offer.
“Look, we know it’s a long shot but we figured, better a long shot than no shot,” said a ZT spokesperson. “Clearly, the name of our company can easily be worked into the NFL vernacular. Every team in the league starts the season by saying that they’ll have 'Zero Tolerance for losing.’ While our offer may not be taken seriously, there is some undeniable synergy between the NFL and the name of our company.”
While exact terms of Zero Tolerance’s offer were not made public, a company spokesperson did say that it involved “several zeros.”
