Zero Tolerance Makes Impression South of Border - Trinity Brittney Skye

Zero Tolerance Entertainment, with help from adult stars Trinity and Brittney Skye, introduced consumers in Mexico City to its range of video products over the weekend at the second annual Sex & Entertainment convention.

Zero Tolerance President Greg Alves left nothing to chance with his booth presentation, sending the same materials to Mexico that were used to build their state-of-the-art structure at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January. The 20-by-40-foot space became one of the main attractions at the five-day event that drew over 100,000 fans and an onslaught of media coverage at the Dalacio de los Deportes arena.

Zero Tolerance hosted its booth with its exclusive distributor in Mexico, Venus Sex Shop. A steady crush of visitors received DVD samplers and large foil posters for the girls to sign.

“Overall, the one vibe we got from everyone was that we had the nicest, most professional looking booth there,” Alves said. “I went down there to support my distributor and it went really well. We’re really happy. There hasn’t been that much of our product available down there, but the people that came by and saw our stuff were really impressed with the quality.”

Alves said that his company has been working closely with Venus Sex Shop on distribution in Mexico for the past six months.

“I try to do it in all markets outside the U.S., wherever I see a market that’s emerging that is strong,” he said. “I don’t sell rights, I sell finished pieces. So the better they do, the better I do. I give them access to everything. I ran them 5,000 foil posters and 5,000 DVD samplers, and I go myself and help them with sales and all the promotional stuff.”

Alves said that larger-than-life images of Trinity and Skye adorned their booth. The girls were also a hit with the city’s major newspapers, which ran pictures of them on the front and back pages.

“They have a great attitude with the fans,” Alves said. “They actually talk to them and are accessible.”

He added, “It was a great turnout and the customers received it well. It was great marketing and branding for the Zero Tolerance name.”

Alves said the trip was such a success that, “I’ll be there for sure next year.”
