Zaye to Release Gay B.J. Line

Zaye Entertainment has completed production on its first gay blowjob title called Knob Squad, which will be released through Northstar Associates in March.

Richie Zaye shot and directed Knob Squad, “Polished to a Shine,” with 15 guys ranging in ethnicity from black to white to Latino. Zaye said he captured a four-way and a three-way with the cast that blends both newcomers and veterans. He plans on shooting six volumes of the line this year “to get a feel for how the public will accept the series.”

Each scene in Knob Squad will start with a 20-second intro before it ends with a hardcore blowjob to completion for both performers.

Zaye, who also directs straight porn titles, helmed his first gay feature in 2004 called Damian Ford in Hawaii.

“To shoot this is harder than to shoot a straight b.j. line,” Zaye said. “I think for the guys, there really has to be a chemistry there. They’re a lot more choosy with who they work with. But once the scene started going, all the guys did a very good job in the movie. I was very satisfied with their performances.”

Zaye said he wanted to shoot a b.j. title to fill what he sees as a void.

“I don’t see anyone that does it in the gay market,” he said. “I don’t see any b.j. titles at all,” he told AVN.com.

Zaye said he was designing a hardcore box cover for Knob Squad similar to the style of hardcore straight boxes.

In other developments, Zaye has also closed a deal to distribute Prague-based Dream Entertainment’s new gay line. The first release is a story-driven title called Stranger In the City that features all the hardcore staples such as anal finger-banging and rimming.

“All the guys are very good looking, well-built, models per se. They all have big cranks and good popshots,” Zaye said. “It’s a well-shot movie. The camerawork was very good.”
