Juliet Cariaga was feted as Penthouse Pet of the Year 2000 at a party at Barfly here May 10. Cariaga, 22, who was the Pet for December 1997, was declared Pet of the Year 2000 last November.
A number of Pets were in attendance, including Angelica Costello, Aimee Sweet, Mason Marconi, Miel Angel, Alexus Winston, Sam Phillips, and last year's Pet of the Year Nikie St. Gilles, plus Pets who have crossed over into adult video, Vicca, Nikita, Tara Partrick, and Devinn Lane. Also present were Penthouse Video Executive Director Nicholas Guccione, and adult stars Eric Price and Mark Davis.
A large video screen behind an improvised stage showed Penthouse promo footage as two camera crews recorded candid footage of the assembled crowd. As Juliet walked by and saw herself larger than life on the screen she pointed at the image and squealed, delighted. She then grabbed Alexus Winston and danced with her in front of the screen. As this reporter was leaving the party, KTLA's Roland Galvan was doing a live teaser for his weather report for News@Ten, flanked by Alexus Winston and Mason Marconi, from a camera position near the entrance.
