YNOT Network has bought TheAdultWebmaster.com - including the popular and successful TAWRadio.com - in what the principals are calling the largest merger of adult Webmaster resource sites yet.
YNOT Network and TheAdultWebmaster.com announced the deal late Nov. 26, with YNOT president Bob “YNOTBob” Rice saying it made perfect sense to make the deal after working closely enough with TheAdultWebmaster.com for several years' worth of a strategic partnership.
In his side of the announcement, Rice called the TAW staff "amazing" and said the deal is a way for YNOT to "continue to raise the bar in the adult Webmaster community. The synergies created by this latest acquisition will improve the day-to-day operations of all of our joint properties and improve the quality and variety of comprehensive services we offer to Webmasters.”
TAW editor-in-chief Connor Young said the deal makes his side feel positive about the future. "Twinkley and I have always had a great working relationship with YNOTBob, LAJ, Gary, Jim, and everyone else at YNOT," he said in his side of the announcement. "It will be nice to work towards a common goal with such a well-established and respected company. I predict great things for both TAW and YNOT in 2004 and can't wait to start unveiling some of the surprises we have in store for the adult Webmaster community.”
Neither could be reached for further comment by AVN.com before this story went to press. But in another statement, former TAW owner Oz said the timing of the deal was perfect and pleased him. "YNOT has always been a leader for adult Webmaster resource sites on the Internet," he said, "and I'm proud that they have decided to officially join forces with TAW."
Both YNOT and TAW will exhibit at Internext in Las Vegas in January 2004.
