YNOT Bob Now YNOT President

In what the company calls the first executive shuffle in two years, YNOT Bob (Rice) has been named president of YNOT Network, succeeding the outgoing Greg Geelan.

“I have been very fortunate in my adult Internet career to be surrounded by the ethical and hardworking employees and leadership here at YNOT," he said in a statement. "I firmly believe that if you surround yourself with quality people, you will put out a quality product”

Geelan will stay with YNOT Network as management consultant, general counsel, editor of YNOTNews, and legal chat board moderator. YNOT Bob also continues his duties as the company's vice president of Webmaster sales and advertising.

“We still have many outstanding services and positive changes coming in the future," said YNOT Bob, who has been with YNOT Network since early 2000. "YNOT will continue to raise the bar and launch new features to help Webmasters maximize their online businesses."

He praised Geelan for hard work and dedication that he called "instrumental in creating the excellent infrastructure YNOT needs to keep growing."

Geelan said he had wanted to turn over some of his time and attention to other challenges, and added he and the company had spent the past several months making the transition and bringing YNOT Bob into more management duties. He promised YNOT Bob full support.

"There was much to be done in regard to making the company more organized and efficient," he said of his taking the company presidency in 2000. "There were few standard operating procedures and policies in place company-wide, including accounting, sales, business development, human resources and legal processes, and there was much that we wanted to do to improve the quality and quantity of services we were offering. It took a couple of years and a lot of hard work by a dedicated staff to turn the company into a fine-tuned, efficient machine.”

Geelan's other activities include a legal firm he formed with AdultInternetLaw.com's Richard Chapo, aiming to provide adult Webmasters and other clients with top accessible legal services. He also plans to launch a number of as yet unnamed new ventures of his own in the coming months.

As for passing the leadership torch on to YNOTBob, Geelan states, “Bob has been crucial to the success of YNOT and I am extremely confident in his ability to lead the YNOT team.  I will fully support him in any way that I can and look forward to YNOT’s continued success under Bob’s tutelage.”
