Online adult entertainment multiplex XonDemand announced the addition of custom theaters and hosted galleries to its Webmaster affiliate program this afternoon. The official rollout will take place next week at the Internext Expo, August 13 through 15, 2004, at The Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida.
"The Adult Webmaster community has been clamoring for us to add this functionality, so we’re ready to deliver. And the sky’s the limit," president Frank Ryan told AVNOnline.com. "Now Webmasters can create as many themed theaters as they want, bringing our “multiplex” mentality to their individual sites. And the more streaming video content they offer their site visitors, the more likely they are to hold onto their customers for the long term.
"We’re really excited about our hosted movie gallery pages. We’re coming to market with more than 500 varieties to start, and we will add more each week. No one else even comes close to that number. Like my father always said, 'Go big or go home!'"
With these additions, XonDemand now offers Webmasters the option to add customized pay-per-view adult movies to their Website. XonDemand hosts and drives the video streaming content to the custom theaters at no cost to the Webmaster, providing a way to generate a recurring revenue stream with no investment other than the few minutes it takes to personalize each theater. Affiliate Webmasters can earn 25 percent of the revenue generated.
"By empowering our adult Webmasters to create as many Custom Theaters as they want, we bring even more value to the XonDemand brand," said Ryan in a statement. "Once a Webmaster goes live with his/her custom theaters, there is no reason to send their traffic to other VOD sites. And for our affiliate adult Webmasters, that translates into increased customer retention and higher revenue streams."
The next move for XonDemand is to give the Webmaster the ability to route traffic to their custom theaters or directly to XonDemand. "Either way," said Adella, "they still earn a huge 25 percent rev share for the life of that customer."
