Online Adult DVD sales and rental house XRentDVD.com announced that it has launched a 15 percent discount program for current military personnel.
Active duty members of any of the five branches are eligible for the discount, which is good for one year. After a year, servicemen and women are asked to reapply.
“We’ve had customers say ‘Do you give a military discount,’ and no, we don’t. Well, why not? So we put together a program that’s a little unique compared to the other promotions we tend to run because everything is discounted and not just select titles,” XRentDVD.com owner Chris Watanabe told AVNOnline.com.
For Watanabe, a former Marine, this was his way of giving a little back.
“It’s something I feel serious about doing,” he said. “In some ways I wish I was up there on the front lines.”
XRentDVD.com can deliver Adult DVDs to all United States mailing addresses including military APO and FPO addresses.
In the future, they will be delivering them faster. Watanabe said the company will open an East Coast warehouse in the next couple months.
“Shipping times will be cut down drastically,” he said. “It’s no secret as far as the demographics, where our highest concentration of customers are is California and New York.”
