HOLLYWOOD—The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) has found a new home for its annual awards ceremony at Supperclub LA and announced that this year's gathering will take place there Thursday, April 25.
The XRCO was forced to seek out a new location for the event when The Highlands nightclub, where it was held for a number of years, recently shuttered.
"We are very excited about the new venue," XRCO co-chairman Dirty Bob said. "It is a fantastic location and we look forward to a new era and a long partnership with Supperclub."
He added, "One of my favorite adult conventions years ago was the ECVS (East Coast Video Show), which was held in Atlantic City until 2002. When I learned that Exxxotica was trying to start up something similar in Atlantic City around the same time as our 29th annual XRCO Awards Show, and since the date for our show had not officially been released, I moved the XRCO date by a week in order to help Exxxotica get a good start at their planned show in the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino (which, coincidentally and probably unknown to Exxxotica, was the location of the first ECVS)."
The 2013 XRCO Awards are set to kick off at 9 p.m. April 25, with red carpet beginning at 7:30 p.m. Supperclub is located at 6675 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028.
