XPIX-FM On The Cyberair

xpix.com has added a new FM radio station to its popular suite of adult entertainment Websites.

The new station includes news, music, interviews, and live talent showcasing, including the program “Casting Call,” designed for job opportunities in adult entertainment, said xpix Inc. Chief Executive Officer John McDonald.

"The addition of fm to xpix.com gives us an extra outlet to reach current subscribers and to attract new visitors," McDonald said in a statement. "You can surf anywhere on the Web and stay tuned to FM, which allows us to cross-promote our 14 sites to new radio listeners, thus exposing the company to a wider audience."

Xpix now runs 15 Websites covering a broad range of adult entertainment, updated daily, and including twelve pay sites plus adult auctions, casting calls, job boards, and what the company calls a "hassle-free browsing experience with no pop-ups."

The company also programs original content from other xpix companies, including films from New Orleans Pictures, animation from Fleischer/Cambridge, and a developing television broadcast operation it’s calling Dumont Television – possibly named after the legendary, pioneering "fourth network" of early television days, the network that made a star of Jackie Gleason and memorably aired the Army-McCarthy hearings in 1954, before various struggles forced its demise and ultimate metamorphosis into the old Metromedia broadcast group.
