CHATSWORTH, Calif.—New Sensations has released the box cover art for The Flintstones: A XXX Parody, the first salvo in its public relations push behind the title, which releases on Oct. 11.
The cover features the Flintstone and Rubble families, including Hillary Scott as Wilma, Brooke Lee Adams as Betty, Hayden Winters as Pebbles, Anthony Rosano as Barney, Seth Gamble as Bam-Bam and Peter O’Tool as Fred.
“It has been great working with New Sensations on The Flintstones throughout the production process,” Ryder said. “Their team is world class. The cover shows off exactly how perfect the cast is. Now imagine Wilma, Betty and Pebbles getting their prehistoric freak on—that’s why we’re so excited about releasing this movie.”

“The sets are fantastic and the wardrobe is colorful,” Ryder said. “It’s exactly what you would expect if you are a fan of the cartoon, which I am. The cast transformed themselves into the lovable characters many of us grew up watching on TV.”
Speaking of the set, Ryder’s production team re-created the Flintstones living room right down to the stone TV set. A working replica of Fred’s iconic car was built for actor Peter O’Tool to run around in. But the most ambitious of the sets was the exterior of the Flintstones’ house, constructed out of 1,200 pounds of plaster, 400 pounds of wood, 60 pounds of metal and 50 pounds of paint.
“The Flintstones: A XXX Parody is an obvious and immediate best seller,” New Sensations Vice President of Global Sales Belle Casten said. “The sexual connotations were written into the original cartoon, and the manifestation of these exploits is long overdue. Once the cover goes up on retail websites, pre-orders will begin pouring in. With impeccable casting, comedic timing and true character development, there will be no expiration on this title’s shelf life. [It’s] a must-own movie.”
The cast also includes Misty Stone as Ms. Stone, Dale DaBone as Tyler and Rod Fontana as Mr. Slate.
