BARCELONA - Woodman Entertainment has signed a major distribution deal for Australia and New Zealand with wholesale distributor Calvista.
The contract gives Calvista exclusive rights to Woodman's DVD titles throughout Australasia, effective immediately.
“My movies have always been very well received in Australia so it is therefore a great pleasure for me to sign this exclusive distribution agreement with Calvista, one of the most highly respected names in the business," said Woodman Entertainment founder Pierre Woodman. "Australia is an increasingly important market, and I know that the partnership with Calvista will give us the firmest possible foothold there and be a further, important step in converting Woodman Entertainment into a truly worldwide brand."
Calvista has already scheduled several Woodman Entertainment titles for release in Australia and New Zealand beginning this month.

Calvista has been in continuous operation for over 20 years, and currently offers over 10,000 lines covering everything from toys and lubes to DVDs. The company has major distribution hubs in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Auckland, New Zealand.
With the addition of Australia and New Zealand, Woodman Entertainment now reaches 23 countries around the world.
