BARCELONA — Director Pierre Woodman is bringing his Casting X series back on his own Woodman Entertainment label, starting in June with volume 75.
Beginning as no more than a file of video records in 1992, when Woodman was an assistant to director Michel Ricaud, Casting X turned into a commercial series in 1998 when Woodman realized the value of the library he had in hand. Over the years, he has captured the porn debuts of such major stars as Silvia Saint, Alexa May, Monica Sweetheart, Michelle Wild and Angel Dark.
Usually taking place in Eastern European hotel rooms, Casting X follows Woodman as he picks up young civilian girls and talks them into having sex on camera. The line has been carried in the past by Private and Hustler's H2 Video.
"I smile when I see what some of my competitors claim on their box covers — first time appearances, never before shot, etc.," said Woodman. "My Casting X series has long been a trademark of mine, and there has been overwhelming demand for it to return. It seems that although similar products have come into the market — in fact more than 50 last time I counted — to judge by all the comments that I have read in web forums, I have realized that what people really want to see is the original."
Casting X 75 features Kety Bleins, Lulu, Lorena Blond, Kaoruko, Moana, Renata, Mona Lee and Xenia Love. It will be distributed in the U.S. by Ninn Worx_SR, but no release date has yet been announced.
"It is wonderful to know that porn fans demand the original and true Casting X," Woodman said, "but to get it is not so easy. They key is to get the girls first, and this is what I do most of the time. There is only one real casting line, and I have been proving it for the last 16 years."
