Michael Bushler certainly knows the female form. Owner and director of Phase One Graphics, Bushler takes credit for many AVN covers and scores of adult video box covers. His latest project is a colorful coffee table book showcasing the many beautiful women of the adult industry. Bushler feels that, like those old-time studio contract stars, the women of XXX are every bit as important.
"In years to come, they will be remembered and loved as much as the classical Bette Davises of yesterday's Hollywood," said Bushler. "No one has glorified the many fascinating women of this industry today in this way, and I want to be the one to change that."
The book will spotlight the feminine talent of today's adult industry, in non-sexual but erotically posed images, with the text of the book comprised of each actress's own words. Publication and release is slated for late summer 2000. Bushler is in the planning stages of a sequel book, devoted to the men of the industry.
