The adult industry's female professional population from around the country will come together for a Women In Adult cocktail party November 22 in Santa Monica, giving members, non-members, male and female, a chance to network and socialize, the group announced November 17.
The party is timed to coincide with the Webmaster Summit set for the same weekend in the same city, and WIA expects the party – at the Monsoon Restaurant VIP Room on the Third Street Promenade, from 6-9p.m. to be well attended.
WIA board member Holly Moss told AVN.com the group intended to time up to the Webmaster Summit event, especially since its board of directors meeting was scheduled for November 20, at the offices of VS Media, two days before the summit and the cocktail party.
"And," she said, "I think we need a little pizzazz before the January (Internext) show." She expected anywhere between 50-60 people and perhaps more to attend the cocktail party.
Women In Adult, of course, formed earlier this year with the aim of supporting and empowering professional women in adult entertainment, including such activities as access to companies, agencies, resources, and job opportunities in the industry through various networking events, job and chat boards.
