After nine years of bringing fresh young girls to the XXX screen, producer Bill Witrock has sold Real Sex Magazine, his long-running pro am series, to Juicy Entertainment.
“They bought the name, the inventory, the website, everything,” Witrock told AVN.com. “Real Sex Magazine will continue, but without me. I got a nice fair offer from Juicy. I’m retiring, believe it or not.”
Since its creation in 1996, the series has spotlighted more than 200 youthful females, including many first-timers and quite a few only-timers. It was last distributed by Witrock himself through William Witrock Productions. A previous distribution deal with New Sensations lasted four years, preceded by another four with Legend Video.
Witrock turned out over 60 volumes of the four-scene series, along with numerous compilations. Always featuring new girls in the 18-21 year-old range, it hosted the video debuts of, among other stars, Tera Patrick, Belladonna, Aurora Snow, Avy Scott and Gauge. A perennial nominee in AVN's pro-am category, it was twice named Best Pro Am Series by the XRCO.
Jerry Estrada, Juicy Entertainment’s co-owner, called Real Sex Magazine “really good stuff. We tried to get Bill to distribute it with us before [after New Sensations], but he decided to go on his own. So we’re happy to get it now.”
Juicy is also buying the Real Golden Showers line that Witrock sold only by mail order. They’ll be wholesaling it as well as selling it on the web.
Estrada said there are “eight to ten” still unreleased volumes of RSM, plus “eight or nine” Real Golden Showers. “And we’ll be putting on DVD everything that isn’t on DVD already,” he added.
Once they finish releasing the new material, one volume per month, they’ll start shooting a whole new Real Sex Magazine, with a director they’ve already lined up and “all brand new 18 year-old girls.”
Estrada plans to turn the RSM website “into a really nice pay site, where you can also order product.” They’ll also revamp the Real Golden Showers site.
As for Witrock, he’s looking forward to early retirement. “I’m selling my house and buying a big RV, and I’m just going to drive around the country. I’m happy. The business was good over the years. All I can say is Sayonara!”
