CHATSWORTH, Calif.—William H. told AVN he is taking his brand of gonzo porn to New Sensations, where he will start an exclusive directing deal this month.
Now entering his 17th year in adult entertainment, the AVN Award-winning shooter has directed more than 200 titles during his colorful career behind the camera. He’ll kick off his tenure with New Sensations/Digital Sin with Wetter, Better Asses, followed by a star showcase called Veronica Rodriguez Latina Squirt Goddess.
“I’m very excited about it,” William H. said Wednesday. “[New Sensations owner] Scott [Taylor] is giving me this great opportunity to try some gonzo lines over there because it’s a little different from what they usually do.
“We talked and he expressed some interest and I told him I’d love to do it.”
William H. previously directed for Jules Jordan Video, Hard X and Elegant Angel, where he helmed more than 150 titles over the course of 14 years. He won back-to-back AVN Awards for Director of the Year-Non Feature in 2010-11, and the same award for XRCO four consecutive years from 2010-13 while at Elegant Angel.
“We are very excited to have William join our team,” Taylor said. “He is an accomplished, award-winning director with the vision, will and ability to make excellent movies. The blend of our strengths will be remarkable.”
William H. already is in pre-production on Wetter, Better Asses, which he said will be along the lines of similar series he has directed for more than a decade.
“It’s an ass and oil movie,” he noted. “I want to give the fans what they’ve come to expect from me and also incorporate some new ideas. It’s always been one of my most popular lines.”
He is also eager to shine the spotlight on Venezuelan seductress Veronica Rodriguez, a popular performer whose been on his set on more than one occasion.
“Ever since I first shot her I’ve always wanted to do a showcase with her. She’s one of my favorites,” William H. said. “As far as I know she’s one of the top squirters going right now.”
No argument here.
A native of Niles, Mich., a small town near South Bend, Ind., William H. played guitar in the hardcore punk band, The Scam, and worked as a cook at various restaurants in New Hampshire before he moved to LA in 1999 and broke into porn with Elegant.
“The feeling we had at Elegant was like a family vibe and New Sensations seems like that kind of place,” William H. said.
“Scott definitely knows what he’s doing. They’ve been around for over 20 years and been one of the top-level companies. Other companies come and go, so they must be doing something right.
“After I talked with Scott he gave me a box of their movies to look at and I was impressed with the lead-ups they do and their storylines. I’m going to stick to what I know best and do my thing.”
William H.’s first movies with New Sensations/Digital Sin will be released later this year.
