Wicked Pictures and Trans Digital Media (TDM), the parent company of Playgirl TV, have agreed to help each other expand their distribution – into each other’s sector.
TDM, owner of three adult channels (Playgirl TV, Cheri TV, and High Society TV), will help launch Wicked TV over cable, and in turn Wicked will distribute titles from Playgirl Home Video.
“We’re taking some of the Wicked library and marketing it to pay-per-view and video on demand,” said Graff, the founder and president of TDM. “I believe that Wicked TV will become an instant player with the cable and satellite companies.
“We’ve proven with Playgirl TV our ability to secure wide scale distribution, and I’m thrilled to be working with Steve Orenstein and his team to make Wicked TV a reality.”
TDM, a joint venture between Graff and Blue Horizon Media, the publishers of Playgirl, High Society and Cheri, launched Playgirl TV in May of 2004.
In addition, Wicked will be distributing Playgirl Home Video. “The Playgirl brand is one of the strongest names in adult entertainment,” said Orenstein. “Playgirl Home Video will satisfy the increasing demand for adult entertainment for women. We couldn’t be more excited about our partnership.”
