LOS ANGELES—Thanks to director Axel Braun, who's always ahead of the pop-culture curve, superhero fans won't have to wait until 2016 to see the Dark Knight battle the Man of Steel. To whet appetites for his next Wicked Pictures blockbuster, the studio has released two exclusive desktop wallpapers for Braun's most ambitious superhero movie to date: Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.
The second release in the Wicked Comix imprint (following the current AVN Editor's Choice Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody), Braun's new movie will go into general release online and in stores at the end of May—nearly one year before Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill get to battle it out on the big screen.
The two new character-driven wallpapers offer users an option of creating very different desktop environments. Fans of the iconic titular characters can deck out their PC or Mac with Giovanni Francesco and Ryan Driller in their roles as Batman and Superman, while those with an eye for the ladies can go with an all-female lineup featuring Kleio Valentine as Harley Quinn, Alison Tyler as Wonder Woman, AVN's 2015 Best New Starlet and Best Actress winner Carter Cruise as Supergirl and such other comely co-stars as Britney Amber and Aiden Ashley.
Dramatically designed and extravagantly art directed, both wallpapers exemplify Braun's penchant for ambitious costuming. As fans have noted, his versions often exceed their mainstream counterparts in fidelity to the source material.
