When Wicked Pictures released their Jenna Jameson and Laure Sainclair vehicle Wicked Weapon in 1997, they bundled it with a black-and-white comic book based on the video by Carnal Comics. For the DVD release of Wicked Weapon Wicked went back to Carnal and had them add color to the comic book - then animated it and synced it to the audio track from the video.
"I'm a big dork when it comes to comic books and this title just lends itself to that, so I really enjoyed kicking ass and making this the best possible DVD that I could," David Crawford, Wicked's Director of DVD operations, told AVN.com.
One the more notable features, besides the animated comic, is the extension of four scenes, all of which include Jenna Jameson, providing viewers with double the amount of sex the VHS version of the tape had.
"Because of the time restraints of VHS we had to cut back a lot of the sex. So we went back to the original camera masters and had all the Jenna scenes reedited and extended. You look at them and you realize there's a lot of heat here that you were missing," said Crawford.
Jameson's scenes include two scenes with Brad Armstrong, an orgy scene, and a scene with AVN Hall of Famer Jill Kelly.
The DVD version includes audio tracks in German, Spanish, French, and the original English. Other extras include 5.1 Digital Surround Sound, bloopers, audio bios, promotional material, the Wicked casino.
The DVD version of Wicked Weapon is currently in stores.
