Wicked Pictures Announces Tsunami Relief Sale

Wicked Pictures is holding a special 30-day sale on its product to benefit victims of the December 26 tsunami disaster in South Asia, their families, and the relief organizations involved in ongoing rescue efforts.

For the next 30 days, the company will be offering distributors special sales opportunities featuring some of Wicked’s titles. At the end of the 30-day period, 10 percent of the gross (not merely the profits) of the sale will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Wicked Pictures Publicity Director Daniel Metcalf told AVN.com, "While the disaster occurred nearly two months ago, we believe the need for support is now greater than ever, since thousands of people are still missing, presumed dead from the initial tsunami. The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization estimates the fishing industries of the seven countries hit hardest have lost at least $520 million in desperately needed resources. For these areas - India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Thailand, the recovery process will likely be measured in years, not months, and we are proud to be lending some support."

Distributors should contact Wicked’s National Sales Manager Tony Cleary at [email protected] for information about the sale.
