West Coast Productions is poised to release the most ambitious title in its nine-year history, The Big Ass Party, on Feb. 16.
The two-disc, DVD set contains over five hours of hardcore footage that includes 10 full sex scenes and plenty of behind-the-scenes antics from their first annual “Big Ass Party.” The bash attracted several hundred fans, adult film stars and mainstream entertainers at the Century Club on Nov. 11.
“This is my little epic,” said James A., the West Coast Productions owner who produced and directed the project.
James A. said that the idea began with the WCP crew coming up with a promotion for their popular Booty Talk series, but it evolved from there.
“We decided to make it a night of entertainment where we all could enjoy ourselves,” he recalled.

So naturally, West Coast decided to film it.
“We wanted to get the hottest ethnic adult performers out there and I think we did a pretty good job of that. We called it ‘more fuck for your buck’ with 10 scenes,” James A. said. “We gave them the red carpet treatment and it turned out a little better than we thought it would. We hope to do it every year and not only every year, but in other parts of the U.S.”
The female cast includes Ayana Angel, Jada Fire, Carmen Hayes, Ice LaFox, Mika Brown, Mya Lovely, Mone Devine, Olivia O’Lovely, Skyy, Sydnee Capri, Lori Alexia and Cherokee. The guys include Jack Napier, Mandingo, Domineko, Weed, Richard Mann and a special appearance by Lexington Steele.
Steele made a rare appearance outside of Mercenary Pictures in sizzling scenes with Fire, Mya Lovely and Sydnee Capri.
“We’ve had a pretty good relationship. He’s been exclusive with Mercenary, and he agreed to do some scenes. I’m a big fan of Lex,” James A. said.
Among some of the other action, Mika Brown took on Mandingo and LaFox in separate scenes, and Angel and O’Lovely hooked up in a scene that was filmed at the Century Club.
“I assumed it was going to be at the hotel, but they shot it while the party was going on,” O’Lovely told AVN.com Thursday from St. Louis, where she is featuring at the Hustler Club tonight. “If you’ve ever wanted to publicly do anything where there’s people around and you might get caught, it’s much more exciting. We were just behind the curtain and people were trying to peek in.”
O’Lovely, a native of Moreno Valley, Calif., who has been performing for close to three years, had already been in West Coast’s Latin Booty Talk line and had shot a few other titles for West Coast. But she said it was only a matter of time before she and Angel hooked up on camera.
“Her and I are really good friends, but that was the first time we finally got to work with each other,” she said. “We actually still really want to work with each other. We couldn’t really get as crazy as we wanted to, but it was still very hot.”
James A. said that this title appeared to be selling faster than Booty Talk 50, which is West Coast Productions’ previous top seller.
“People are very interested in the behind-the-scenes stuff,” he said. “We actually left a lot off. We’re only going to do this once every year. I just like to think from a consumer standpoint and we tried to give them a lot in this video. We’ve never done anything on this kind of level. We’ve done little orgy tapes, but nothing on this level.”
During the party West Coast gave away a $1,000 cash prize to the winner of the Big Ass Contest who was eventually cast in the upcoming Booty Talk 59.
