CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Weiss & Associates and Bunda Media Group have secured The Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay for their annual AVN Awards pre-party and post-party.
The pre-party is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 11 with red carpet arrivals starting at 10. The post-party is set for Saturday, Jan. 12, after the AVN Awards Show, with red carpet beginning at 11.
The events will be co-hosted by Ron Jeremy, Sunny Lane, Lisa Ann, Sean Michaels, Nicki Hunter, Mr. Marcus, Renae Cruz, Brittany O’Neil, Phyllisha Anne and Rebecca Love. Each of the porn stars are confirmed, said Harry Weiss, owner of Weiss & Associates.
Both events will include fashion shows featuring porn stars modeling lingerie. Weiss said he has increased the pre-event marketing and publicity efforts this year, including promoting the party on the Jumbotron outside Mandalay Bay.
“We’re advertising on the top two radio stations in Las Vegas. We got a full-page ad in Las Vegas Weekly magazine and we have ads running in two newspapers in Vegas. We also have 10,000 glossy fliers going out by street teams,” Weiss told AVN. “These parties should get a lot of attention.”
The after-party will be broadcast live on 98.5 KLUC.
Weiss said the party is open to the public and the VIP list is by ticket only.
“This is a rare opportunity to mix and mingle with the porn stars,” he said.
The Rum Jungle has two levels and features go-go dancers, aerialists, exclusive bottle service and a 1200-person capacity. Last year’s party attracted mainstream as well as adult stars. Weiss said sponsorship packages are still available. Interested parties should contact [email protected].
