A porn website whose URL used the name of Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern has dropped the porn images, with the Irish government saying the address now links to the official site for the prime minister. nrnOn the other hand, the former porn page's ownership is apparently up for grabs - the domain name auction site TransNames still had it listed May 15, with the latest bid a none-too-shabby $3.2 million. nrnAhern himself hasn't bid for the site and apparently has no plans to bid on it. And the Irish government has told the European press it has no clue as to why the porn images were dropped in favor of links to Ahern's official site. nrnTransNames, an Ohio company, says it expects a response to the $3.2 million bid by May 25. It's also auctioning domain names www.thetaoiseach.com - Taoiseach is Gaelic for prime minister - and www.marymcaleesesucks.com, a protest domain name aimed at Irish president Mary McAleese.
