A new fetish film series, The Crimson Mansion, will include an Internet serial version, to come on line later this fall, production company GwenMedia announced September 4.
The first VHS/DVD entry in the series, Brianna Takes Control, stars Jean Bardot, Victoria Channing, Anastasia Pierce, Sasha Monet, Barbi Korvette, and Marina, in a multi-day shoot. Showing rich, eccentric Guy Le Florio turning control of his entire mansion to his slave/lover, including control of staff and slaves alike, the installment is based loosely on the novel, Story of Gerda, GwenMedia says.
The Web serial version of The Crimson Mansion will include monthly installments of the training sessions for the series. And the serial version will follow participants very closely, not unlike a television soap opera, "with a few cliffhangers to keep the audience coming back for more," Gwen Media says.
For the VHS and DVD releases, GwenMedia built new sets exclusively for the series, including three tons of stone and mortar the company says was aimed at making the most realistic castle dungeon they could get. They also put in a large "Rubber Room" and brought in new supplies of latex wardrobe and bondage equipment for the series.
The Web serial version, owner/producer/director Bob Zack told AVN.com gives GwenMedia a chance to do something they else they haven't done before.
"It's something different," he said. "It'll be a kind of behind the scenes look. We really haven't thought of this before, this came through a brainstorming session and we thought we'd give it a try."
Zack said the work on the Website is ongoing at this writing. "We're just working on the site and the behind the scenes (material), so we have enough content to put it up. We'll start with a few teasers very soon, and build it within September, so it can go live in October. That's what we're planning, and I hope it works out that way."
