We'll Pay For The Non-Spam We Block: Net-Sieve

You hear plenty enough about filtering and spam-blocking software that blocks plenty enough aside from what they're supposed to block, but Net-Sieve has thrown down a challenge to current and prospective customers: you show them the non-spam their spam blockers blocked, and they'll pick up the tab.

Net-Sieve announced April 15 that they'll pay $10 per item for every non-spam e-mail message their spam-blocking softwares cut off. They'll even pay $1 an item for every spam message blocked, though a few restrictions do apply. The Spam Challenge began just as Net-Sieve added two new corporate customers - AbaNet.net and Home Federal Savings Bank - to its list.

"With this solution, we plan to deliver a wireless high speed Internet access with Net-Sieve's anti-spam and content filtering bundled service," AbaNet chief sales officer Mauricia E. de la Torre Ayala said in a statement. "This will give us four arms more to differentiate toward competitors."

"I liked the feature set, plug and play nature of the unit and obviously, the effectiveness or stopping most of our spam and not blocking genuine email message to and from customers," said Home Federal spokesman Roberts M. Hoenisch, Sr.

But if you're interested in taking the Spam Challenge, you can apply online at Net-Sieve on the Web.
