You know you’ve always wanted to and now you can. Thanks to DVD rental site WantedList.com and production house Red Light District, one very creative fan will get to name a porno.
The companies have launched an exclusive contest – Name A Porno – on the WantedList.com site, where fans can submit potential Adult movie titles. The contest runs today through April 30, when the winner will be awarded a collection of 100 Red Light District DVDs.
“Like most of the things we do, this allows the fans to participate in the Adult business and it also puts out a serious challenge to people. Just for fun, we banter about porn title names with our friends and I’m sure others do it too. So, if you think you’ve got skills, come and submit a name,” said WantedList co-founder Anh Tran.
This marks the first time the companies have teamed up for a promotion.
“How could we not be a part of this?” asked David Joseph, owner of Red Light District. “We are really looking forward to the responses that this contest generates.”
Webmasters can promote the contest with special WantedList banners.
“Our contests have been a very lucrative source of traffic for a lot of webmasters,” said Dennis Consorte, director of affiliate marketing for WantedList affiliate program Spank Bank. “Our contest banners are so unique when they’re placed against other porn banners that they gets tons of click-thrus, which eventually leads to conversions.”
