It was truly a red carpet affair at the Century Club on Thursday night, where some of the biggest names in Adult showed up dressed to the nines in celebration of West Coast Productions (WCP), which held the event as a nod to their fans.
As WCP publicist Vernell Mills explained to AVN.com, “West Coast Productions at this point just wanted to do something special for our fans. It’s not that we’re promoting any series or any type of thing like that, but what we’re doing is making something really special for our fans, where they can come out and appreciate West Coast Productions other than just watching our movies and so forth.
“And we thought the best way to do that was to pull all of our fans together at a big-ass party, and that’s what we’ve done.”
As noted, the party featured a red carpet entrance for the stars, who posed for fans and cameras as they headed into the party.
Inside, the porn personalities mingled with fans throughout the sprawling club, some getting down on the main dance floor while others sipped cocktails in adjoining rooms.
Meanwhile, in an upstairs V.I.P. section, a soul food buffet proved extremely popular, dwindling rapidly.
Mills said he was pleased with the turnout. “I think [it’s] great, actually. The turnout’s gonna even be better a little bit later. There’s a lot of people standing outside right now, but it’s gonna be awesome.”
Adult stars in attendance included Dee, Misty Rain, Misty Mason, Family Business’ Bishop, Ayana Angel, Olivia O’Lovely, Stephanie Tripp, Jada Fire, Ice LaFox, Lucy Lee, Venus, Stacey Cash, Devlin Weed, Byron Long, Jack Napier, Brian Pumper and many others.
The party was co-sponsored by Fish ‘N’ Grits, a new hip-hop/porn magazine, and was being videotaped for an upcoming WCP production.
“Sometime at the end of January or February, we’re planning on releasing a movie, Sexual Conversations, based on the party,” Mills said, “and that should be very hot.”
