LOS ANGELES—Vouyer Media has wrapped the first edition of Superstar Showdown, a sexual summit meeting featuring two contemporary icons of adult entertainment, Alexis Texas and Tori Black. Think the Sundance Channel's Iconoclasts, but with a lot more skin.
Directed by AVN Awards nominee Zander, the festivities were hosted by 2010 AVN Award winner (Best Group Sex Scene, 2040) and Wicked Girl Kirsten Price, who brought her trademark wit to every aspect of the lighthearted production. Thanks to an arrangement with Wicked Pictures, Superstar Showdown was the star's second collaboration with the company (the first being a role she was born to play: Elaine Nardo in Vouyer Media's Taxi: A Hardcore Parody).
Joining Price in this carnal showcase was a panel featuring two of adult entertainment's most distinctive personalities: Monique Alexander and Burning Angel owner Joanna Angel. The production was further enhanced by a press room packed with media.
Over the course of two days, Zander guided Black and Texas through a series of compelling scenarios designed to showcase their particular talents. From sexy solo interludes to explosive oral, girl/girl and boy/girl couplings, the two explored their sexuality with the help of several other performers, including James Deen, Anthony Rosano and Latin sensations Melanie and Valerie Rios.
Vouyer Media has responded to the strong interest in this production by delving into pre-production on an ambitious slate of similarly themed entries to be shot over the course of the next four months. Such intriguing Superstar Showdown pairings as Asa Akira with Kristina Rose and Lisa Ann with Dyanna Lauren are being finalized for the new series, which Vouyer brags is “the new gold standard in celebrity-driven erotic entertainment.”
