CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Joanna Angel's production company Burning Angel Entertainment has signed a distribution deal with Vince Vouyer's Vouyer Media that will yield one release a month, beginning May 20 with Fuck Me in the Bathroom 2.
Burning Angel, which had been going out through Pulse, is the first company Vouyer has taken on for distribution.
"I've got a lot of new fun stuff coming out over the course of the next year," Angel told AVN. "And I have a whole bunch of other lines in store." The second release will be POV Punx in June.
Vouyer proposed the distribution idea to her and, Angel said, "they haven't done distribution for anybody else yet, so I kind of like being their project. I'll get all the attention. And I really like attention."
"I feel that we can do that. I like her content, I like her style, and I was looking for some diversity here at the company," Vouyer said. "No one else here makes what she does. So I thought bringing her on board would be a good addition.
"And she wins a lot more awards than I do."
"That's because I'm better looking," Angel retorted.
Angel and Vouyer have been friends for several years, ever since he shot her for the Red Light series Young Ripe Mellons. It was then that he suggested she call a new series she was planning Cum on My Tattoo. It became Burning Angel's signature line. Vol. 3 won AVN's 2008 award for Best Specialty Release, Other Genre, and Vol. 4 will be released this summer.
