Voter Registration, Uncensored TV Shows Online For Humble Howard

Howard Stern has kicked off what he calls "Clip The Bush," a voter registration drive he has announced on his radio show and his Website.

"Anyone who listens to the show knows how I feel about [George W.] Bush and his buddies taking the country down the toilet," said Stern in a formal statement. "You have the power to change all of these things by voting on Election Day, but you cannot do that unless you are registered to vote. Please take the time to register right now, so all Howard Stern fans can unite and tell the president we don't want him in office anymore. Kick his frigging ass out of office and send him back to the ranch where he spends most of his time anyway."

The porn-friendly shock jock earlier this year got the boot from Clear Channel Communications radio stations which carried his syndicated radio show. In early July, Stern's One Twelve company and Infinity Broadcasting, which carries the show elsewhere including his home base in New York, sued Clear Channel for $10 million, saying Clear Channel had no right to yank Stern off six markets.

Clear Channel countersued two weeks later, arguing Stern and Infinity failed to ensure compliance with Federal Communications Commission indeceny laws, seeking $3 million in damages including the almost $500,000 fine Clear Channel paid the FCC as part of a June settlement said to be $1.75 million..

None of which has mellowed Humble Howard in the slightest. Stern has also launched the showing of uncensored versions of his E! Entertainment Network television show on his Website.
