Spice Live's Spice Clips is turning to the Net for fans to vote on a new co-host.
In an effort to find a replacement for departed Spice Clips co-host Holly Hollywood, who defected to their show The Nooner last month, viewers are encouraged to vote for the newest addition to the team during the month of May. Their choices are porn stars Ariana Jollee, Cindy Crawford, and Nautica Thorn.
"Being one of the finalists is really exciting, not to mention an honor," Thorn said in a statement. "I would be honored to be the one to make the guys - and sometimes girls - come wherever and however they want. I'll help prevent men and women from being sexually frustrated. I think I have a good shot at winning, as I'm the most exotic girl on the show, being Hawaiian, Puerto Rican and Japanese."
Las Vegas native Cindy Crawford began her career as a feature dancer and started working in adult in 2002 before joining forces with Jill Kelly Productions as a contract girl, while brunette Ariana Jollee has performed in nearly 100 films since her adult debut in 2002.
All nominees will be actively campaigning throughout the month of May to garner viewer votes, with Crawford and Jollee making an appearance on The Howard Stern Radio Show during the week of May 10 when the crew takes over Las Vegas for a week.
Viewers are invited to vote for their favorite potential co-host - who will join current co-hosts Ann Marie, Aurora Snow, and Velvet Rose. The winner of the contest will be announced June 1, 2004.
Spice Clips can be seen on DirecTV live Thursday through Sunday from 7:30 to 1030 p.m. (PDT) or live Friday through Sunday on the HotZone from 7:30 to 9 p.m. (PDT), and the HotNet from 8:30 -to10 p.m. (PDT).
