LOS ANGELES – Vivid Entertainment has acquired the rights to an explicit sex video featuring Jessica Sierra, a finalist on TV's 'American Idol' and star of VH1's 'Celebrity Rehab'. The company is launching a website to promote the release at www.jshardcore.com today at 3 p.m.
AVN was tipped to the existence of the Sierra video by porn star Mary Carey, who co-starred with the 'Idol' finalist on the VH1 reality series. An advance press release from Vivid states that the studio obtained the 72-minute video from "an unidentified third party."
The teaser website shows clips of the 22-year-old Sierra flashing her breasts, showering, and having sex with an unidentified boyfriend. According to Vivid, the video also features Sierra commenting on her 'Idol' co-stars.
"This title contains the most explicit sex we’ve ever seen in a celebrity video,” said Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch. “Jessica clearly has more talent than just singing.”
Sierra recently made tabloid headlines following her Dec. 1 arrest in Tampa, Florida for disorderly intoxication, violation of probation and obstruction of justice. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 20.
The Dec. 1 incident is the latest of several scrapes with the law for the former 'Idol' contestant, who sang at recitals for Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as a teenager. At the time of her most recent arrest, she was on probation for cocaine possession and felony battery. She was previously arrested on April 29, 2007 in a Tampa bar for allegedly throwing a cocktail glass at another patron.
Jessica Sierra Hardcore is the latest in a string of celebrity sex videos from Vivid. Earlier this year, the studio helped boost the bootylicious profile of Hollywood celebutante Kim Kardashian with the mega-selling Kim Kardashian Superstar.
Vivid's DVD release of Jessica Sierra Hardcore is scheduled to ship on Jan. 23 and will arrive in stores on Jan. 30. In the meantime, customers can pre-order the movie for mail or VOD delivery online.
