LOS ANGELES - A former high school classmate of adult actress Syvette Wimberly has filed suit against the starlet and Vivid Entertainment for misappropriating her name in pornographic videos, according to TheSmokingGun.com.
Wimberly, whose real name is Tara Madden, attended high school with the plaintiff, Kristen Syvette Wimberly, in Kingswood. Texas, and according to the lawsuit, deliberately used her former friend's name as her stage pseudonym despite knowing that it would be the cause of "extreme embarrassment and unsubstantiated association with the pornography industry."
A representative for Vivid Entertainment told AVN that the company has not yet been served with the lawsuit. The company has no comment on Wimberly's claim.
