Monique Alexander, a 22-year-old, 5-foot-5 blonde from Sacramento, has signed an exclusive contract with Vivid Entertainment Group and will be the newest Vivid Girl.
Alexander's one-year contract calls for her to perform in eight movies and contains an option at the end of the year, she told AVN.com. She shot her first project for Vivid two weeks ago, Lexie and Monique Love Rocco, which will be released in the spring of 2005. It marked the first time Alexander performed in a b/g scene other than an interactive title that was recently released. In her first Vivid movie, Alexander's scenes include a boy/girl with Italian star Rocco Siffredi as well as a three-way with Siffredi and new Vivid Girl, Lexie Marie.
Alexander and Siffredi met at an art gallery in Venice in what turned out to be a sizzling, high-energy encounter that included some aerial 69 action.
She had performed only in g/g and softcore scenes since she began her career in the fall of 2001.
"It's still not believable," Alexander said on the set of Lexie and Monique Love Rocco. "Everybody wants to be a Vivid Girl and I'm finally taking that step. It's crazy. I'm honored. It's a good way to go with my career."
She continued, "I'm excited, very excited. It's such an amazing company. I hope I can do good for them. I love my job. It's so fun."
Alexander told AVN.com that Lexie and Monique Love Rocco isn't part of her contracted amount of movies, which do not begin until 2005.
"This just came up," she said.
Director Paul Thomas called Alexander's scene with Siffredi "absolutely explosive."
"I am looking forward to working with her on many other Vivid projects," he said.
Alexander became interested in a career in adult entertainment after she began dancing at a Sacramento gentlemen's club at age 18.

Alexander said she is "a lot more mature than my age," which is why she waited over three years before doing b/g scenes.
"I wanted to be sure about it. I know who to work with and who not to work with. And I know how to say, 'No,'" she said.
Alexander was a Trophy Girl at the 2002 AVN Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. In the past few years, she has also built a solid career acting in B-movies on HBO and Cinemax, and can be seen in movies such as Hotel Erotica 2 and Sex House.
"The best thing is now I'm extremely comfortable in front of the camera, and with dialogue," she said. "HBO has seen me grow. Now I get leads."
Alexander said she loves to go out dancing with her friends when she isn't working.
"I am the one who gets up and dances on a chair or table at a club," she said. "Dancing is also a form of exercise for me since I don't work out in a gym."
Alexander added, "I am a pretty determined person and I'm going to do the best I can at Vivid. The prestige and security of being a Vivid Girl will also allow me to indulge in my other passion by taking some courses in interior decorating."
