LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment announced Wednesday that on only its third day of shipping out new Vivid Celeb release Montana Fishburne, starring the daughter of actor Laurence Fishburne, the studio had completely depleted its first-run supply of the title.
"I am trying to fulfill the orders I have right now for the local distributors," Vivid sales manager Howard Levine told AVN. "Due to the tremendous news coverage, the title just blew up, actually beyond expectation. We have a rush order in at the printers and the replicators, and I will have more in on Monday."
The younger Fishburne's foray into adult has spurred massive chatter both inside and out of the industry, including some scuttlebutt on Wednesday night's edition of The Stilts and DeVoe Show, an LATalkRadio.com program hosted by triple-X director Alexander DeVoe and partner Sharee "Stilts" English.
During the show they discussed the Vivid movie and also talked with Brian Pumper, who has a scene with Fishburne in the upcoming Freaky Empire release Phattys Rhymes & Dimes 14. Then, a surprise call came from Nene, an alleged acquaintence of Fishburne’s, who dropped a few supposed bombshells about the nascent porn actress, thus introducing her to one hazard of celebrity: being gossiped about.
