LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment reported registering over one million visits to its website (vivid.com) today as fans clamored see a trailer of Shauna Sand Exposed.
Shauna Sand, the star of the sexy Shauna Sand Exposed video, is the petite and sultry blue-eyed blonde TV actress, former Playboy Playmate of the Month and ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas of E!'s "Leave it to Lamas" reality TV show.
After an initial legal skirmish with Vivid over distribution of the video, Sand recently dropped "cease and desist" charges against the studio, which had obtained a copy of her self-produced sex tape.
Sand bypassed the third party that brought the tape to Vivid, which she made with an ex-boyfriend for their personal use. She subsequently negotiated her own distribution deal with the company.
"Vivid.com has been a pretty popular site over the years but we're dazzled by the interest in Shauna," said Steven Hirsch, founder and co-chairman. "By the time the day was half over, more than one million consumers had visited vivid.com to see our trailer. That breaks all previous one-day records for us," he added.
The movie is now available in stores across the country and at dvdempire.com.
