LOS ANGELES — The third installment of noted director/sex columnist Tristan Taomino's Chemisty series, whose debut volume garnered last year's AVN award for Best Gonzo Release, is set to hit shelves this Wednesday, Sept. 26.
"This is by far the best volume of the series," commented Taormino. "This time around, the sex is hotter and more intense. The personalities are bigger and more complex. The conversations and confessionals are smarter, deeper, funnier, crazier. No topic was off limits for this group of six."
Comprising that group were Roxy DeVille, Jada Fire, Christian, Derrick Pierce, Steven St. Croix and reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year Hillary Scott. And according to Taormino, they provided "some private sexual moments I still can't believe were caught on camera."
Set in a large Bel Air house, Chemistry 3, like its predecessors, put the shots in the hands of the performers, as far as who had sex with whom, what they did with each other, and when and where they did it. And in order to leave no possible encounter uncaptured, they were given a "Perv Cam" to shoot whatever private and intimate moments they saw fit, something Taormino said they utilized wonderfully.
"They dished about personal stories and controversial activities like choking and rough sex," she explained. "It still blows my mind how smart, thoughtful and articulate they were about their sexuality and their work."
Some of the sex that occurred in front of the "Perv Cam" is included in the bonus footage of the two-disc set, while the movie itself runs a whopping three and half hours.
"It's amazing how fast [Chemistry] has become one of the top gonzo series in the market," remarked Vivid national sales manager David Peskin. "The series just keeps getting better and better."
