Vivid Entertainment has opted not to renew Lexie Marie’s contract, it was learned today.
The company deferred all inquiries to Lexie Marie’s agency, L.A. Direct Models.
The 19-year-old Lexie Marie joined Vivid in late 2004 after just a few months in the industry. Reasons for the company’s actions were unclear and her agent, Derek Hay, would not speak on the matter.
“I know why this happened, but I’d rather talk about the fact that this is a chance to explore other opportunities that are out there,” he said, adding that he’s already fielding offers for her.
“She’s just 19 and she’s a very attractive and intelligent girl that people really like,” he said.
Lexie Marie was unavailable for comment.
As a contract performer, she was featured in 10 titles at Vivid, including Skin on Skin, Lexie and Monique Love Rocco, Lexie: Extreme Close-Up, Sunny, Spiked and Sexual Auditions.
Lexie Marie joined the adult industry just weeks after her 18th birthday when she began working as a dancer at an L.A. club. Soon, the 5-foot-6 blonde beauty was featured in a Playtime Magazine nude pictorial which then led her to L.A. Direct, which booked her for a handful of girl-girl videos.
Only a few months passed before she signed an exclusive contract with Vivid in December 2004, where she joined established stars such as Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Briana Banks and Savanna Samson.
Once there Lexie Marie's career gained traction as she began performing boy-girl scenes for the first time.
“It was a great opportunity to be at Vivid and now it’s time to move on,” Hay said.
