Vivid Offers Russian Spy a Feature Movie Deal

LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment has offered a recently convicted Russian spy a movie deal. The sultry Anna Chapman was deported back to Russia July 8, after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy and money laundering on U.S. soil.

In a letter sent to Chapman’s attorney, Robert M. Baum, Vivid co-chairman Steve Hirsch said that he’s “very interested in extending an offer to Ms. Chapman to make a feature movie with us.”

Vivid has demonstrated impressive success in the celebrity sex tape arena. The company’s latest features E! Entertainment Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson. Kendra Exposed has been burning up the AVN Retail Buzz chart for weeks, placing in one of the top three spots since its release.

“Anna was obviously the hottest spy we've seen in years and she was clearly the media's favorite,” Hirsch said. “Though she wasn't very successful as a spy, we think she can be a terrific actress in one of our upcoming feature films. We would be willing to send our top director, B. Skow, to Moscow to work with her.”
