LOS ANGELES – Vivid Entertainment has a deal for Nadya Suleman, alias "Octomom": $1 million to star in an adult movie.
Suleman gave birth to octuplets after undergoing a controversial in vitro procedure. She already has six other children, and has now become a tabloid celebrity and hate magnet for outraged taxpayers and hand-wringing Oprah-watchers concerned for the welfare of the kids.
"Nadya obviously needs income to assure that her children are secure so we are offering her up to $1 million to act in one movie," said Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch. "We've had many single mothers work with us over the years and their income from Vivid has been very important to them. We would schedule production so that the movie could be shot in less than one week."
Vivid has reportedly sweetened the deal by offering one year of health insurance to Suleman and her family if she signs with the studio as a Vivid contract girl.
"There is a tremendous amount of interest in Nadya and we can help her capitalize on that interest and put some real cash in her bank account," said Hirsch. As with our Vivid Girls, she would have her choice of partners, including 'Octodad.'"
Suleman recently did an interview for "Dr. Phil" and there's talk of a reality show on TLC, the network that brought you "John and Kate Plus 8" and "18 Kids and Counting".
The Octomom porn vid would be distributed under the Vivid-Celeb imprint, known for such releases as the Kim Kardashian sex tape and Faithless, starring former Miss USA Kelli McCarty.
According to World of Wonder, the producers of Vivid's cable TV reality shows including the new Showtime series "Deeper Throat", Vivid wants to call the movie Octopussy.
Octopussy would feature "eight men," Hirsch said. No word from Roger Moore or Albert Broccoli on the familiar James Bond movie title - but the real question is: Will it be an "all-internal" movie?
