Vivid Entertainment Group has granted management of its website, Vivid.com, to Westlake Village-based Webquest, Inc.
"Since Webquest is already handling many of the same assignments for other adult companies, they are able to offer us significant efficiencies in managing our own Internet operations." said Vivid Co-Chairman Steven Hirsch. He noted that creative control would remain in-house, however. "We retain complete control over all content, but we are getting the benefit of outstanding technological and marketing skills."
Under the new plan, several of Vivid's Van Nuys employees would relocate northwest to Webquest's headquarters.
Vivid.com provides members with broadband access to Vivid movies, exclusive photos and live shows featuring the Vivid Girls, behind the scenes footage from Vivid video shoots, specialized portfolios of photo shoots and other content.
Webquest was founded in 1997 and built its brand on managing affiliate services, consulting, and from-scratch website development within the adult industry.
