Vivid Bumps Up ‘Montana Fishburne’ Release Date to Aug. 10

LOS ANGELES—Originally slated to be released Aug. 18, Vivid Entertainment has bumped up the release of Montana Fishburne, a sex tape starring Laurence Fishburne’s daughter, to Aug. 10.

"We knew there would be interest in this movie but we didn't anticipate that it would be quite so strong," Vivid founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsch said. "We're hoping the earlier release will help Montana realize her ambitions a bit sooner."

The movie is more than an hour long and follows the uninhibited Montana as she engages in wild, erotic adventures in a car, a hotel room and even in public while visiting a mall.

So how is her celebrity dad reacting to the news that his teenage daughter is a sex star?

Montana Fishburne told TMZ.com today that "[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he's mad at me but I haven't spoken to him yet.  I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him."

According to the 19-year-old, she spoke with her famous father on a weekly basis and that the two were on good terms.

"I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive,” she told the celebrity gossip site.
