Vivid Alt to Throw Party for Girls Lie, D3TI

Vivid Alt, the alt arm of Vivid Entertainment Group, will host a party for its two latest releases, Girls Lie and Dana DeArmond Does the Internet (D3TI), on Thursday at the Beauty Bar (1638 N. Cahuenga Blvd.) in Hollywood.

Doors are set to open at 9 p.m., and performers, including DeArmond and Charlotte Stokely, from both titles will be on hand for the event.

Eon McKai, who directed Girls Lie and heads up Vivid Alt, told AVN.com that he sees the upcoming event as a chance to relax in a time of frenzied excitement for the year-old production company. “Dana DeArmond Does the Internet just shipped really strong,” he explained, “and we didn’t really have time to formally celebrate Girls Lie because it premiered in Berlin. This will be a chance for us to really stand back and celebrate before we go off to AEE.”

The party will be free and open to the public. The night will also feature giveaways from Vivid Alt and Pleasures on Melrose (7314 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles).

“We’re really getting behind Pleasures on Melrose as one of our preferred retailers,” continued McKai, “and we’ll be doing some great signings with them in the future.”
