The new label Vivid-Alt releases its debut title today The Rebelle Rousers. The feature is also the directorial debut of photographer Winkytiki.
The rockabilly-inspired release stars Kimberly Kane, Page Morgan, Mysti May, Lexi Bardot, Nadia Styles and Dragonlily, with a special appearance by pin-up model Masuimi Max.
Executive producer Eon McKai told AVN.com that re-orders have already been made for the title. “People that haven’t even been necessarily on board with the alt porn movement are even gravitating towards this title,” he said. “Maybe the retro feel of it might have something to do with its early popularity.”
“When we started Vivid-Alt, we really had no idea how things were going to go,” McKai added. “To be honest, we had no idea that the original shipping numbers on Rebelle Rousers would be so great. I couldn’t be happier with its early success.”
“I had to put somebody out there with the initial project of the imprint, and I knew that Winkytiki was ready to make something great…I knew he was ready to make a splash as a director.”
Winkytiki, who gained experience in adult as a second videographer for director Jack the Zipper, drew inspiration for the project from the exploitation films and old pin-ups of the 50’s and 60’s.
