Vivid-Alt Directors Set for Book Party

Octavio Arizala (aka Winkytiki) and Dave Naz, who are directing videos for the new Vivid-Alt imprint from Vivid Entertainment Group, will celebrate the release of their new books at a reception and book signing at Clair Obscur Gallery (4310 Melrose Ave.) from 7 p.m. to midnight this Saturday, in Hollywood. There will be an open bar at the event.

Fresh by Naz and Modern Vixens by Octavio both feature exotic photographs of the Southern California scene. The books are being published by Goliath Books.

Naz and Octavio will be on hand to personalize autographed copies. Large photos from the books will be showcased at the gallery, along with models whose images appear in the books.

Naz’ first Vivid-Alt release will be Skater Girl Fever and the first from Winkytiki is titled The Rebelle Rousers.

Additionally, Vivid-Alt director Eon McKai will be one of the judges for a Drop Dead Gorgeous pageant on Sunday at Beauty Bar in Hollywood (1628 Cahuenga Blvd.). The pageant will start at 9 p.m.

Prom Gone Bad Theme is launching the Drop Dead Gorgeous contest, hosted by Kato Kailin (WB’s “Eye for an Eye”) with guest DJ I M A Robot. Other judges include Missy of the Suicide Girls and Tim Armstrong of Rancid. There will be cash prizes and a chance to compete for the National Miss Beauty Bar title and $25,000.
