Vivid co-founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsch issued a brief statement today regarding the departure from the company earlier this week of David Schlesinger, former Head of Brand Licensing.
Countering rumors that Schlesinger was summarily fired after the launching of the Vivid nightclub in the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Hirsch’s statement stressed the reciprocal nature of Schlesinger’s departure.
“By mutual agreement,” Hirsch told AVN.com, “David Schlesinger is no longer employed by the Vivid Entertainment Group. We hope to have the opportunity to work on projects together with David in the future."
AVN.com has so far been unable to reach Schlesinger for comment.
