Vince Neil to Host Off the Strip Poker Tournament

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will host Vince Neil's second annual Off The Strip Poker Tournament inside The Joint, starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Organizers said that celebrities, poker pros and Las Vegas dancers are set to join Neil for an entertaining evening.

Last year’s tournament raised more than $170,000 to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, an organization which has raised more than $215 million to support innovative cancer, leukemia, and AIDS research.

Seating for the no-limit Texas hold 'em tournament is limited to the first 150 entrants. The tournament buy-in is $500, plus a $50 entry fee. Re-buys and an add-on will be offered during play. Players will vie for a cash prize pool of $50,000, and payouts will be made to the final table of 10.

Tournament participants and members of the public are invited to visit The Joint throughout the day to bid on a collection of memorabilia from the worlds of music, sports and entertainment, all up for silent auction. Beginning at 3 p.m., Neil will host a cocktail party, followed by a live charity auction, hosted by starlets Tera Patrick, Taylor Wayne and Sunny Lane. Tournament play will then commence at 4 p.m.

All proceeds from the poker tournament and charity auctions will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation via the Skylar Neil Foundation, established in 1995 by Neil to honor his daughter who passed away from cancer. Since that time, Neil’s charitable efforts have helped raise over one million dollars for the T.J. Martell Foundation.

This year’s confirmed sponsors include Eagle Warranty Corp., Counts Kustoms Las Vegas Choppers, Quality One Wireless, Tres Rios Teqila, Red Bull, Las Vegas Golfer Magazine and The Small Town Poker Tour.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Contact a Hard Rock Casino Host at (702) 693-5000.
