Videogame Network Founder Joins Playboy Board

Charles Hirschborn, founder of the videogame television network G4, has been elected to Playboy Enterprises’ Board of Directors.

Hirschborn is founder and CEO of G4 which was launched in 2002 and is available to 53 million cable television subscribers in the U.S.

“Charles’ knowledge and experience in both the content and the business sides of the entertainment industry will be great assets for Playboy,” said Christie Hefner, Playboys’ chairman and CEO.

Hirschborn had previously served in development and production capacities of feature films for the Walt Disney Co. as well as served as vice president of development for Fox Broadcasting Co.
