VideoPass Cash is offering more than payouts and VoD to the industry at Internext 2005. They’re offering VideoPass Cash’s operations director DJ Airek to spin at private industry events for free on a first come, first served basis.
Airek has been a nightclub DJ for more than 10 years and currently works out of various San Diego clubs.
“The musical atmosphere is the most noticeable contributing element to guaranteeing the success of your event. It is the music that determines what mood people stay in and how long they stay,” Airek said. “Whatever your musical flavor and requirement is, we have it on the menu.”
Airek said he has several gigs already lined up, including one during convention hours. But he wants to bring his style, which he describes as revolutionizing the elements of house and hip-hop into one mashed-up style of party-rocking uncertainty, to as many venues as possible during Internext.
“We want to stick to stuff that is more club-oriented,” he said. “We don’t want to be doing hospitality suite stuff or anything like that. I’m a nightclub guy so I want to be loud.”
